The best kebabs, sheftalia and meze in the area! Family run tavern and everything always fresh! Good prices too!Have always been visiting this place around once per month whenever in the area.Yes the service during weekends when they are very busy, can be sometimes a bit slow, but on the other hand you are compensated by the great food! I would rather get a slow servive but fresh food, than fast service with premade food from the previous day which is something usually happening at other taverns in the area as they are only busy in weekends!As for the cats that someone reviewed badly about, this tavern has also an outdoor patio area under the large accorn tree, and yes there can be cats. Cats are a part of life in all the mountain villages in Cyprus, and you havent been to any of these villages without seeing a cat!

A very beautiful place in one of the most picturesque villages in Cyprus. Delicious food, local wine, excellent and friendly service. Definitely, a place to revisit!

Great food , authentic tavern, truly local. We served lamb chops, jumbo pork chops and halloumi in pita and all was great !! Really happy with service and it was as best and the fastest it could be with just 1 lovely authentic lady servicing. She is great does some km for all tables. Would definitely come again !!

We came for breakfast (or brunch). They open at 11:00, and that was the time we arrived. The owner was so cute, very heplfull, and she juped up to fix us 9 breakfasts. The food is local (we even bought some mellon from a local vendor) and really delicious and filling.Right next to tavern you can try and buy local wine.Recommend to check out the village, find the snails and try the food and vine here.

A beautiful venue with a lovely shady outdoor area. Rustic home-style cooked Cypriot local cuisine. The chips are fresh and hand cut! Nothing beats Cypriot potatoes. They even do an egg and lountza dish! The souvlakia are tasty. The service is good and I highly recommend a meal here, followed by a walk through the beautiful village. Enjoy!

This is an excellent family-run taverna in the centre of beautiful Lania village. Everything is fresh and homemade. We have been coming for years and especially love the courgette and egg, halloumi, grilled mushrooms, Cyprus meatballs, chips, salad... well everything! Please enjoy the lovely, authentic food in this traditional village square. Leave yourself in their capable hands and enjoy.
